FACING CLIMATE CHANGE

Is Time to change our ways of behaving and building…! the image of plastics in the sea might have become a daily routine, but being forced to live indoors since 2020, shows us how uncomfortable our house can be and that extends to all other buildings, and climate comfort will increasingly become an issue especially in fast-growing cities, mainly located in a hot tropical climate.

To avoid an energy catastrophe, the architectural design must begin to prioritize related issues…. with the growth of middle class in Tropics, the search of individual comfort must be aligned with collective efforts.. we can use all the available technologies to achieve optimal levels of well being, but less also think of the large scale..! and AI must no be promoted to solve a problem we create directly but as a good practice optimizing tool..! so while waiting, less generate, and advocate for sustainable strategies… how are we going to inhabit the earth and the galaxy..?

Is time to turn toward natural intelligence… Individual comfort will only last if achieved collectively and with sustainable consciousness…!

That is why even though centered in a smart future, Chorus Architecture practices contextual local solution-centered architecture and the use of low-impact material and system-free architecture…

” If it’s not smart, let it be passive ” Cedrix Tsambang

BEYOND EARTH AND SHAPE

The concept questions spatiality and proposes a contextual and resilient adaptation that takes into account the SDGs, and the need to produce an art, a quality of life corresponding to the cosmogony.

“Ethnographic research must be used to define and analyze local architecture, to better understand space and help develop contextual responses to sustainability, while avoiding greenwashing (…)” Cedrix Tsambang, 2018
